AmGuard doesn't just mask the problem – it converts harmful toxic ammonia into a harmless, easily
removable ionized form that your tank's biofilter can handle. It won't change your tank's pH, GH, or KH levels. It also removes
chlorine and chloramines, ensuring a stable and comfortable environment for your aquatic friends.

Total ammonia consists of toxic unionized (ammonia NH3) and non-toxic ionized (ammonium NH4),
where unionized ammonia (NH3) is one hundred times more toxic than ionized ammonium (NH4). The toxicity balance between them shifts
to toxic unionized (ammonia NH3) as pH and/or temperature rises. Toxic unionized ammonia harms fish gills at about 0.05 ppm and can
be lethal at approximately 2.0 ppm.

How To Use: In the four input fields below, enter the total ammonia, reported
by most ammonia test kits, the current pH value, and the temperature of your water. Optionally can enter the salinity of your water
in parts per thousand (ppt), typical freshwater contains less than 0.5 ppt. Tapping or clicking outside the input fields
updates the parts per million of the total ammonia entered, the non-toxic ammonium NH4, and most importantly the toxic ammonia NH3.
